These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of VulnWatch. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Use of Service & Scope

VulnWatch provides passive vulnerability analysis and attack surface intelligence. Audits conducted through VulnWatch gather information solely through non-intrusive, publicly visible network protocols, HTTP header analysis, TLS metadata inspection, and Certificate Transparency log inspection.

2. User Responsibilities & Authorized Use

Authorization Requirement: You represent and warrant that you own, operate, or have explicit authorization to assess the target systems, hostnames, and IP addresses submitted to VulnWatch.

Prohibited Activities: You shall NOT use VulnWatch to:

  • Audit targets for malicious, unauthorized, or unlawful reconnaissance.
  • Attempt denial-of-service, automated scraping, or resource exhaustion attacks against third-party hosts.
  • Bypass rate limits, guest quota restrictions, or authentication controls.
  • Resell or distribute audit intelligence without proper authorization.

3. Account Responsibilities & Access Tiers

VulnWatch offers Guest access (limited free audits) and Google Authenticated access (full feature set). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

The VulnWatch software, brand, design assets, vulnerability heuristics, and documentation are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

5. Third-Party Services

VulnWatch may reference third-party security databases (e.g. NVD, CRT.sh log providers, DNS resolvers). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party external services.

6. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive for continuous availability, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, endpoint, or quota limit at any time.

7. Limitations of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties

VULNWATCH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. PASSIVE AUDIT RESULTS ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE A GUARANTEE OF COMPLETE SYSTEM SECURITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL VULNWATCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to VulnWatch immediately, without prior notice, if a user violates these Terms or engages in unauthorized network scanning.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of VulnWatch following posted updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
